The Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation

The Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission it is to make art from the collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation accessible to qualified museums in diverse communities. With especially rich holdings of contemporary prints, the Foundation seeks through its exhibitions and publications program to facilitate rigorous engagement with this medium and its collaborative nature. The depth of the collections in the work of many key artists enables curators and educators to tell a range of stories, whether monographic or thematic.

The Foundation was established in 1997 to manage the collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation, provide supplemental funding for education and outreach in conjunction with the Foundation’s exhibitions, and publish scholarly texts including catalogues raisonnés. Since the program’s inception, the Foundation has organized over 110 exhibitions and has art exhibited at over 160 museums.
